ImageBoards (also known as ImageBooru sites) are popular online platforms that host vast collections of user-uploaded images, often categorized by specific themes or genres. This guide aims to show you how to use them efficiently so you can find your own specific images.

Tagging System

Within imageboard sites, there exists a tagging system that slightly differs for each site.

• General Tags: Descriptive words specifying what can be seen in the image
• Character Tags: Specify the characters featured in the post
• Age Ratings: Indicates the content’s theme. “safe” or “general” is used for SFW (safe for work) content, and “explicit” is used for NSFW (not safe for work) content.
• Artist Tags: Attributes images to their specific artist, acknowledging them and letting you find more of their work

Below is an alphabetically sorted list of ImageBoards Succubus support. All post counts are retrieved in October 2023. The tag examples will revolve around the same subject to demonstrate slight differences between imageboards.

Danbooru boasts an extensive collection of images with high-quality standards. However, it limits users to filtering content using only two tags at a time, unless we use a Danbooru Gold account, which expands it to 6 tags.

While we actually cannot purchase a Danbooru Gold account (due to it not being available for purchase for over a year now), we are working on a feature that would hopefully improve the experience for Danbooru users using SuccubusBot. Stay tuned~

e621 is a staple in the furry community, it offers a robust tagging system, ensuring you find precisely what you’re looking for. Its high-quality tagging allows for detailed searches based on species, body parts and even as far as gender lore.

e926.net is the safe-only version of e621, but the same functionality can be achieved with the rating:safe filter, hence why it is not added it as a separate ImageBoard.
